The club places an emphasis on developing paddling,river reading, and team and self-rescue skills. We take pride in helping to keep our rivers clean of trash for all to enjoy. We back it up with an annual contribution to American Rivers, whose mission is to preserve and restore America?s river system and foster a river stewardship ethic

The Club shall volunteer it?s time and equipment to youth groups and others, at no cost, so that they may experience the wonders of running the many great rivers of Maine. By pooling our resources and sharing our expenses, the club will be able to have well maintain equipment for all members and guests to use for a safe and enjoyable time on the rivers.trong>
